I often fish in the lake that runs near my farmhouse. But when I used to stand in that lake, it often made me wet, my clothes, legs, and almost my whole body. So, I finally decided to spend a few bucks and purchased this Compass 360 wader.
Do you know what happened?
I do fishing for hours now and don’t get wet anymore. My experience with the product has been extinguished, and that’s why I am here to tell you everything about this Compass 360 wader.
So, keep reading, my fellow fisher!
Features of Compass 360 Wader
First, I’d like to tell you all the positive things this Wader has given me so that you may know how it can improve your lake fishing. After that, we’ll discuss some of its drawbacks, and I hope that won’t change your mind.
On the positive side, the Compass is suitable to wear when you don’t want water to touch your body while standing in the lake for hours.
It is made with heavy-duty nylon and other quality material that provide the driest environment no matter how strong that water is floating. But it’s just a moral of the story because some great features are discussed as follows.
- Quality Construction
Let’s start with the quality of material used in constructing a 360 wader from Compass.
Nothing is compromising when you talk about that because the excellent duty material makes it a breathable yet men savior from water.
The body part of this Wader is constructed with heavy-duty 4-ply nylon fabric for extreme durability and water resistance.
However, the lower part means the legs usually stay more in water.
They have inserted 6-ply nylon fabric into the legs to keep them dried.
Besides, the water comes with seam tape and an impressively durable coating. When I bought that and ran into the water after wearing it, I was happier since no water touched my body parts.

- An XL Water Resistant Zipper Passed Through the Pocket
What if you are fishing all day long, and your wife has been calling you? That will not happen until you keep your mobile with you, even in the water.
That’s why there is an XL-size water-resistant pocket at the front side of this Wader. Such a pocket is zippered and passed through.
While standing in the water, you can keep your electronic gadgets such as mobile phones or other essentials.
- Heavy Duty Shoe Collaboration
On the lowest part of the body, there come the feet. And if your feet get wet and the water is cold, you will start feeling colder and ultimately want to come out of the water. But that will also not happen unless you are wearing this Wader.
It has 3mm neoprene booties made with 100% original material to keep those feet dry and safe in the water.
These double-taped and contour-fit booties provide warmth, comfort, and protection to your feet when they are in the water.
In addition, the suit also gives you 4-layer guards with lace hooks to keep all the debris and abrasion out of your shoes. In this way, the feet will always stay protected from water trashes.
- Easy Fixing and Easy Wearing
The best thing I liked about the Compass 360 wader is its seamless and comfortable design.
Because wearing this masterpiece is much easier.
All you have to do is to insert your legs into the suit and compress the suit with those adjustable elastic suspenders.
They also come with quickie-release buckles that help you be more comfortable using this daily.
On the belly side, you will get a different belt. It can be used to adjust the size according to your waist.
- What’s More?
The good things didn’t end here because there is more to discuss. There comes a B.A.P 4 in-1 extreme duty zipper pocket system.
With this, you can keep more stuff with you even if you are in the water. And there are 200% chances of keeping that stuff dried from water if they are in that water.
What Could Have Been Better With Compass 360 Wader?
After discussing all the positive sides, there are also some controversial points that I want to elaborate on.
But these are not resulting in any false statements about the product. Even after reading about them, you’ll still like the product. So, please have a look.
- Not That Durable In Longer Run
One of the significant factors that would surprise us is their durability. Even though compass claim to use rugged material construction, people still have faced many leaking issues with these waders, even on a shorter run.
Therefore, Compass needs to work on making its product more durable.
- Poor Craftsmanship Sometimes
In most cases, if you find a product from Compass, it would surprise you with some poor finishing.
People and I have an experience with some unfinished seams that I fixed later at home. But that was not an issue.
Yet, Compass should ensure that the finishing is done properly, and the product should be created to meet the higher customer standards.
- Difficulties In Wearing
It was not in my case, but I have seen people complaining about the Booties with some specific models from Compass.
They say the booties are challenging to remove while taking off this suit. Hence, they are not versatile in wearing and taking off, so Compass needs to focus on this.

Last Words
Conclusively, it depends on which Wader you buy from Compass. But my overall rating for the product would go 8/10. It means it was worth the cost.
So, whenever you want to buy a wader for yourself, ensure to have it made out of a premium quality brand.
In the market, I’ve seen the Orvis pro and Simms performing excellently in manufacturing these waders for anglers. But Compass is not terrible to consider. However, you might have issues sometimes.
But tell me, which brand or product doesn’t have issues?
